Fig. 9: Speckle pattern of an aerogel sample illuminated with a 1.5 Å coherent x-ray beam and recorded with a 20 µm resolution direct illumination CCD camera. The pattern was taken in transmission geometry and covers a maximum wavevector of 1.4 x 10-2 Å-1. Half of the picture including the direct beam is eliminated by a beamstop.
