Applying for experiments at the Cryobench

If you would like to use the Cryobench during a planned trip to an X-ray beamline at the ESRF, please make sure to get in contact with us at least two weeks before your trip by writing a short email to Antoine Royant or David von Stetten. If granted, you will receive an additional invitation from the User Office for beamline ID29S.

Note: Please specify in a few sentences the characteristics of your planned experiment, in particular the type of spectroscopy that you want to use.

Applying for online experiments

online UV/vis and fluorescence experiments

Online UV/vis and fluorescence experiments are only possible during certain weeks (about twice per year) when the microspectrophotometer is mounted on a beamline. These dates and the application procedure are announced on the CCP4 BB mailing list, as well as on this page. For further inquiries, contact Martin Weik.

Next session: early 2011

online Raman experiments

In October 2010, an online Raman device will be installed and commissioned on beamline ID29, and should be available to users in 2011. Please get in contact with Daniele de Sanctis, David von Stetten, or Antoine Royant if you are interested in using it.
