The Networked Interactive Computing Environment implements computing infrastructure for the experiments at ESRF to store, manipulate, and process large volumes of data, to do theoretical calculations, simulations and image processing. NICE started in 1994 and rapidely evolves to adapt to the increasing needs of our scientific user community.
