The European Photon and Neutron (EPN) Science Campus is located in Grenoble in South East France, about 3 hours by high-speed train from Paris, 2 hours by bus from Geneva, and 1 hour by high-speed train from Lyon.

How to reach Grenoble and the EPN site

Tram line "B" :

- serves downtown Grenoble, including the bus and railway station. It allows easy access (even at night) from downtown Grenoble to the ESRF.

- its terminus - 'Grenoble Presqu'île' - is situated just 350 metres from the site entrance.

Site Access and Badges


Access to EPN Campus site (map)

The site is a restricted area and you will be asked to report in at the site entrance on arrival. You will need to produce proof of identification (ONLY passport or ID card) to enter.

You will be given two badges at the site entrance:
* A visitor badge which is your site access badge. You will be asked to present it at the site entrance each time you wish to enter on site during the period of the event.
* A workshop badge to access the on site restaurant for lunches.

Please wear these badges on site over the whole period of the event.

Accommodation & catering information


Guesthouse


We will organise accommodation at the guesthouse on site for ALL participants, provided that the request for accommodation arrangement is made through the registration form.
The ESRF will cover the accommodation costs .

Please note that for security reasons, the guesthouse is not available for accompanying persons.
Opening hours of the guesthouse reception:


 from 7:00 to 15:00

If you arrive outside the opening hours you will have to ask for your room key at the site entrance.

Meals


Lunches from Monday 23 September 2019 12:00 to Wednesday 25 September 2019 12:00 will be taken at the EPN campus restaurant on site. Don't forget to wear your workshop badge to access the restaurant.

Monday evening the Poster session is followed by a Wine & Cheese. The Workshop Dinner will take place on Tuesday 24 September 2019 in town.
