Administrative Assistant: | Marion Glückert |
Scope of the workshop
The goal of the workshop is to explore how the proposed improvements of the ESRF source could be exploited to address grand challenges in the fields of functional soft matter and biology. Particular emphasis will be on development of new scattering/diffraction methods and the infrastructure that will enable the full exploitation of such outstanding source properties. One of the challenges will be to design optimized experiments that permit investigation of radiation sensitive systems with the enhanced brightness. A set of new problems which cannot be addressed with the existing state-of-the-art facilities shall be identified.
