Scientists awarded beam time are expected to publish their results and give proper credit to ESRF staff members and experimental facilities.
All users participating in experiments are obliged to sign a statement (Declaration Form) that they will give proper credit to ESRF staff members and proper mention to ESRF facilities, the beamline in particular, which were essential for the results described in any ensuing publication.
Furthermore, they are obliged to send to the Joint ESRF/ILL library the complete reference and the abstract of all papers appearing in print, and resulting from the use of the ESRF.
ESRF’s address should be cited as follows:
ESRF
The European Synchrotron
71 Avenue des Martyrs
38000 Grenoble
France
The review committees are paying increasing attention to the quality of publications resulting from work carried out at ESRF. Please remember to note on the proposal form the complete references of your most recent papers appearing in print, based on measurements made at the ESRF.
