Three User-Dedicated Microsymposia (UDM) will be held on Wednesday 10 February on the following scientific topics:

UDM1. "Nanoscience: X-ray diffraction and coherence"

UDM2. "Dynamics of complex systems"

UDM3. "The future of (time resolved) room temperature protein X-ray crystallography"

Users are invited to be part of these events by proposing contributions for talks in the related disciplines through the submission of abstracts. Invited talks from users will be selected from the received abstracts, and will be included in the Wednesday sessions of each Microsymposium.

Presentations on outstanding scientific results and/or novel technical developments which can be of interest for the specific scientific area are welcome. In particular, young scientists are encouraged to submit a contribution. Invited speakers will have their registration fee and local accommodation costs waived.

In addition, each User-Dedicated Microsymposium will include keynote talks and the opportunity to meet and discuss with the ESRF Staff.
