MASSIF - Technical Overview

ID30 uses canted undulators providing two beams at +2.2mrad and -2.2mrad with respect to an uncanted setup.

The +2.2mrad beam is used for the MASSIF branch while the -2.2mrad beam is used for the MAD branch. The MASSIF beam is further split by two diamonds and one Si crystal into three beams for MASSIF-1 (EH1), MASSIF-2 and MASSIF-3 (both in EH2).
