The long beam path between the sample in capillary to detector is happening in vaccum thanks to flight tube. At the end of the flight a beamstop is mounted and a big kapton window keeps vacuum while the detector is on air just after it.

The position of flight tube can be adjusted via spec EXP using 4 motors fly1, flz1, fly2 and  flz2.

Take care about the bellow which connect sample changer to flight tube and don't stretch it too much when moving!

Sample_to_Detector Distance is set nearly fix to 2.867 m. This distance can be decreased by manually adding/taking out some parts of metallic tube by steps of 50 cm. With the present set-up distance modification takes about 1/2 day effort of 2 persons... In the future, a WAXS detector is foreseen to be set near the sample position.
