The source is located at a high-ß section of the storage ring. Two undulators U21.4  and one U35 provide high photon flux with a low divergence. Only the central radiation cone of the undulator is used. Unless otherwise stated, all beam sizes correspond to 2.35-values (FWHM). The beamline optics consist of a cryogenic (liquid nitrogen) cooled Si-111 channel-cut monochromator and a focusing torroidal mirror. The standard beam size is 200 µm x 400 µm (vertical and horizontal, respectively) with divergence of 20 µrad x 40 µrad. The beamline is optimised for experiments using a fixed wavelength around 0.1 nm (12.4 keV), but a wavelength range between 0.073 nm and 0.16 nm is accessible. The maximum photon flux at the sample position is of the order of  1014 photons/sec/100 mA with Δλ/λ = 0.015 % at 12.4 keV.
