MXCuBE3 (Macromolecular Xtallography Customized Beamline Environment version 3) is the latest generation of a beamline control software initially designed and developed at the ESRF to perform Macromolecular crystallography experiments. The project has developed into an international collaboration currently including 11 partners institutes (ESRF, ALBA, BESSY HZB, DESSY, EMBL, Global Phasing, MAXIV, Soleil, Elettra and LNLS).

The high degree of automation and throughput that is nowadays achievable on MX beamlines to a large extent facilitated by a user-friendly data collection application.

MXCuBE3 takes advantage of the recent development in web technologies to create an intuitive and user friendly application. The access to the application from any web browser further simplifies the operation and natively facilitates the execution of remote experiments. MXCuBE3 is currently being deployed at the ESRF MX-beamlines, at BioMAX at MAXIV and will be likely soon installed at other sites. This presentation will present the softawre architecture of MXCuBE3 and the application as a whole.
