According to the press, 3D printing seems to be a solution to everything. Indeed, the costs of 3D printing and the range of machines and materials available is growing each month but how applicable is this to synchrotron engineering?

Stewart Scott, an engineer at Diamond Light Source would like to share their experience of using 3D printed metal parts and some recent work on 3D ceramic and PEEK components.

Visitors from off-site please contact Sarah Brulé tel +33 (0)4 76 88 20 11 to arrange for a gate pass.
