Sample environments
Below is a list of of available standard equipment that can be
used on the ID20 diffractometer. If your experiment requires
equipment that is not included in the list, please contact one of
the ID20 staff before applying for beamtime. This applies
also for any equipment that you may plan to get to the ESRF from
your own laboratory, as specific safety regulations have to be
respected in this case. If you get an experiment approved that
requests the use of non-standard equipment you should get in touch
with your local contact early in advance of your experiment to
arrange specific details.

of the cryomagnet and because parts of the diffractometer are made
of iron and steel, it is not currently possible to use a magnetic
field larger than .
