Water exploits a number of singular behaviors like no other system on Earth. Among the most puzzling question is the nature of the apparent divergences of thermodynamic and transport properties at 228 K, seven degrees below the lowest temperature at which water is observable in its liquid states. A way to circumvent the problem easy freezing of water is to extrapolate results of water solutions under dilution. A first step in this sense has been done by investigating the LiCl + 6H2O solution. Our inelastic scattering investigations, extended over four decades of frequency, suggest a dynamic origin of the complex behavior of water, in possible agreement with the two liquids interpretation.
