Abstract:

This manual describes use of HST,  an efficient tomographic reconstruction program system, using a direct filterd back-projection algorithm. HST is routinely used to reconstruct tomography data from a number of beam-lines at the ESRF; further enhancements continue to be made. The program system consists of two main programs: hst_master to define interactively the data-set to use and the required reconstruction volume to produce; hst_slave a program which is normally run in batch mode which performs the reconstruction as defined in a parameter file produced by hst_master.
