PianHo, Plateforme Instrumentale Avancée pour la Nanomanipulation Haptique d’Objet, is a 2 M€ ANR P3N project aimed to provide flexible haptic nanomanipulation tools for Synchrotron Radiation Experiments. The core technologies at the heart of the project are Atomic Force Microscopy, Simulation and Haptic rendering.

The project is carried on by four Partners coordinated by the Surface Science Laboratory of the ESRF, European Synchrotron Radiation Facility in Grenoble, France. It started on March 1st 2010 and will come at an end on March 2013.
