Scope

The school is focused on the experimental techniques used to determine the structure of glasses. It is oriented to doctorate students and early career scientists from both academia and industry.

Particular attention will be devoted to methods typical of large scale facilities like X-ray and neutron scattering, X-ray absorption spectroscopy or photon correlation spectroscopy. Laboratory techniques like raman spectroscopy, IR absorption or nuclear magnetic resonance will be presented as well. Theoretical lectures will be followed by “hands on” practicals on data analysis.
