All users participating in experiments are obliged to sign a statement (Declaration Form) that they will give proper credit to ESRF staff members and proper mention to ESRF facilities, the beamline in particular, which were essential for the results described in any ensuing publication.  Furthermore, they are obliged to send to the Joint ESRF/ILL library the complete reference and the abstract of all papers appearing in print, and resulting from the use of the ESRF.

ESRF’s address should be cited as follows:
ESRF, 6 rue Jules Horowitz, BP 220, F-38043 Grenoble Cedex, France

Important

The review committees are paying increasing attention to the quality of publications resulting from work carried out at ESRF. Please remember to note on the proposal form the complete references of your most recent papers appearing in print, based on measurements made at the ESRF.

For each publication, please ensure that you:

  • mention the beamline on which you obtained data,
  • acknowledge assistance from ESRF staff, according to the following pattern:

"We acknowledge the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility for provision of synchrotron radiation facilities and we would like to thank xyz for assistance in using beamline ###."

  • remember to register your publication in the Joint ESRF/ILL library database. Register directly via the following link, or by sending an email with the publication reference to library@ill.fr.
