Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting: a check list of some important matters you might want to check before calling your local contact

 

Before starting any move, scan or macro, check the following :
  • make sure there is no obstacle in the diffractometer arm path;
  • make sure the beamstop is in place;
  • make sure the sample is spinning.

 

If no counts on detector and/or monitor (command ct in spec window), check the following:
      • there is current in the ring;
      • the front end is open;
      • the experiment hutch shutter is open;
      • all the gate valves are open.
