Troubleshooting: a check list of some important matters you might want to check before calling your local contact
Before starting any move, scan or macro, check the following :
- make sure there is no obstacle in the diffractometer arm path;
- make sure the beamstop is in place;
- make sure the sample is spinning.
If no counts on detector and/or monitor (command ct in spec window), check the following:
- there is current in the ring;
- the front end is open;
- the experiment hutch shutter is open;
- all the gate valves are open.
