Overview of detectors

There are a number of detectors that are available at ID1. In most cases a certain detector is associated with a given measurement. For example for GID/GISAXS measurements the PSD is very useful and for Anomalous X-ray Diffraction or WAXS measurements a NaI scintillator is ideal when used with an analyser crystal. SAXS measurements use a 2D gas filled detector on a moveable track inside a 4.5m vacuum tube or more recently a CCD camera is available that is specially configured for use in vacuum. Here is an overview of the detectors:
| TYPE | DETECTORS | APPLICATION | En range | En res | Window | Max Counts | Vac | Remarks |
