New EH2 microscope installed

During the 2004 summer shutdown the new EH2 microscope was successfully installed on the beamline. This now permits an improved sample imaging to that previously possible with the older equipment. It is also easier to install and offers greater compatability with the various optics used in EH2.
At the present time, in-situ microscopy can be performed with objectives of up to 50x magnification.
