Q315R specifc issues - ID14-4 ID23-1detector

The Q315R ADSC detector is installed on ID14EH4 and ID23EH1.

In case you need to restart the Detector Software you can do so just by clicking on the "Restart Detector Software" icon on the Desktop of the Control PC.

An automatic window will pop-up showing the progress of the restarting of the software on each of the nine PCs.

It is important to wait for this window to close before starting a new data collection

When the restarting procedure is complete type reconfig in SPEC(exp) (blue terminal).

If you are running a Remote Experiment you can restart the detector software typing start_detector_ra in  a terminal on the control PC, wait until the process is completely restarted and type reconfig in SPEC(exp).

If this doesn't solve the problem and you still get an error message in mxCuBE,  in SPEC(exp) (the blue terminal) type ccdflush and then "Restart Detector Software" again. In SPEC(exp) type reconfig.

If this procedure doesn't solve your problem, verify that on each of the nine rackable windows PCs controlling the detector (located in front of the stairs on ID14EH4, on the right side of the End Station on ID23EH1) the acquisition program called "Start,StopXMLRPC Server" is running (see figure) on every PC. Do not start any other detector-related program.

After restarting "Start,StopXMLRPC Server" you need to click on the "Restart Detector Software" icon on the Desktop of the control PC, type reconfig in SPEC(exp) and force a dark current before the next data collection.
