• Tango falcon device server installed (29th of january).
  
• A new marccd application (10.8 version, with unlimited license) has been installed the 26th of january by Michael Blum himself: Thank you, Michael!
  
• A new backup & data processing computer (pc232data) with a 20' screen (1600x1200 pixels) is available on the station.
  
• A new operating system (Red Hat Enterprise based) has been insatlled on sybil (ID23-2 main control computer) and dylan (data processing computer).
• A insulator plate has been installed between the monochromator motor and the gearbox during the shutdown by Trevor Mairs and Thierry Giraud. The monochromator shaft should be less sensible to the  monochromator motor  temperature variation and the beam should be even more stable horizontally.

• 13th of march: scintillator (YAG) added on the diffractometer (under evaluation).
• 10th of february: first users of the year, sample changer can be used.
• 6th of february: beamline startup, new version of the data collection and crystal centering GUI called now mxCuBE.

2005

• The 9th and the 10th of november, the two first user groups came to collect data to the beamline.
• 17th of oct : beginning of sample changer installation. It is installed but not commissioned still. It should be in user mode for the beginning of december at the very very very best... (a reasonable hope is unfortunately to wait for next run...)
• 23rd of sept : detector installation finished; first data collection with Bovin Trypsin crystal.
• 20th of sept : beginning of the installation of the new detector (MarMOSAIC 225).
• july :  fast shutter control card (MUSST card) installation & commissionning.
• june : MD2M (minidiff) installation & commissionning.
• 26th of may : attenuators installation finished & commissionning.
• 24th of may : ID23-2 diffractometer (minidiff MD2M type) tested on the PEL, accuracy of the PHI axis: less than 1.5 µm. 
• february : first test with the focusing mirrors.
• january : KB mirror installation.

2004

• 28th of november : two first collected dataset (trypsine crystal); setup: MarDTB as goniometer, MarCCD 165 as detector.
• 29th of october : radiation tests passed by the experimental huth, the commisionning phase can start.
• 27th of october : very first beam taken on the experimental hutch (EH2).
• sept-oct: assembling and installation of the different components (secondary slits, safety shutters, monochromator, connecting pipes) in the optic hutch by Thierry Giraud and Trevor Mairs.
• 16th of september 2004: appointement of a beamline scientist.
