Information about how to apply for beamtime
The User Office has a web page detailing the standard ways of applying for beamtime at the ESRF.
The BM5 beamline has a special status:
- 50% of the scheduled beamtime is available for experiments approved by the Review Committee, i.e. can be accessed to public users.
To apply for beamtime, please refer to the User Office web page that details the standard ways of applying for beamtime at the ESRF. There you can also find the various deadlines for doing so.
For Technical Queries and Beamline Information please contact the beamline staff.
- The other 50% of the available beamtime is reserved for in-house experiments, to provide opportunities to perform feasibility experiments, optics-related or otherwise.
