This page provides links to documentation that you may want to read as a user of the SAXS/WAXS station.
| User's survival manual | This mini-manual gives first a basic description of the SPEC commands allowing you to align the sample in the beam and to use the detectors available at DUBBLE. It then explains how to start and to quit the first data acquisition software (SAXSGUI) in a proper way, and proposes do-it-yourself solutions for the most common problems you may encounter while using this program. The third section guides you to use the Pilatus 300K-W as wide angle (WAXS) detector together with the SAXS acquisition system, either GDA (newer) or SAXSGUI (older). Finally, the document explains in detail how to use the software tools we provide for data reduction. |
| SAXSGUI (data aquisition) | Manual of the data acquisition and reduction software for collecting and pre-processing of Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) and/or Wide Angle X-ray Scattering (WAXS) data for both static and time-resolved measurements performed on the Dubble Collaborative Research Group (CRG) beamline at the ESRF. The software can be used for both isotropic as well as anisotropic scatterers for independent or simultaneously SAXS and WAXS patterns. |
