Running XDS
XDS is available on both the beamline linux processing machines (bm16process1 and bm16process2) and is called by typing xds at the command prompt.
%xds
An input file for XDS will be written automatically in the process directory by MxCube. You should edit this file to include all your experimental parameters before you begin or to add recently refined beam centre values.
XDS will automatically read-in the file XDS.INP and start processing your data. If the processing is successful, the integrated reflection intensities, are saved in the file XDS_ASCII.HKL.
A standard XDS input for BM16 can be found here.
Scaling & Merging Data
XSCALE can be called by typing xscale at the prompt.
You can use XDS_CONV to convert from XDS to other file formats.
More info on XDS can be found on the ESRF PXSOFT pages.
