BM16 users have access to a basic sample preparation lab adjacent to the beamline which is equipped with a microscope, pH meter, balance, micro-pipettes, MilliQ etc, as well as Fridges and supervised storage facillities. BM16 also now stocks a range of Cryo-reagents and standard Cryo-tools including long-handled Cryo-tongs in sizes 12,18 & 21.

Most standard equipment required for sample manipulation and mounting is available for users. However specific requests for non standard equipment and reagents need to be made in advance through your local contacts. Secure storage space can be allocated in the lab to users carrying out repeated data collections on the same sets of crystals.
