Direct illumination CCD 256x256 (F.Livet, LTPCM)

last modified 15-11-2007 10:39

Some experiments concerned by very high resolution using the coherence of the beam are done using a direct illumination CCD camera. In this mode the camera is used as a 2D counter and speckle images can be recorded. However this kind of usage of a CCD camera is limited to weak intensities : typically no more than 20,000 photons on each frame... This usage of CCD was promoted by Frederic Livet (flivet@ltpcm.inpg.fr) and was done using its detector.

a special program for data reduction bm2ph was written.
