MAR345 Image plate system

An image-plate area detector (MAR) is available for macromolecular crystallography work.This is a 345mm
diameter image plate with online readout capabilities. The pixel resolution is either 100um or 150um, and
four different readout sizes can be chosen (180, 240, 300 and 345 mm). Readout times (scan + erase) vary
between 35 sec and 110 sec. An Oxford Cryostream cold nitrogen blower is available for attachment to
the MAR345 as well as a high- temperature furnace (maximum temperature approx. 1100 C).
