The VPN gateway has been replaced by a SSL gateway.
The modem/ISDN access server has now been stopped (end of 2008).
ADSL users: a cluster of SSL gateways
A Juniper cluster of SSL gateways allows registered ADSL users to connect to the site either as simple visitors (e.g. for browsing the Intranet) or as if their computer was located onto the internal network, i.e. in VPN mode. Authentification is made using Cisco ACS appliances (Radius servers) relaying to the internal LDAP.
This service does not require to install any client software on the computer, a standard Web browser is sufficient.
