Collaboration

The ICU helps to secure EC funding to support numerous collaborating research programmes.

Contracts within the FrameWork Programmes of the European Union

"Framework Programmes" (FPs) are the main financial tool through which the European Union supports research and development activities covering almost all scientific disciplines. FPs are proposed by the European Commission and adopted by Council and the European Parliament following a co-decision procedure.

The Industrial and Commercial Unit is the coordinator or administrator of a number of European Contracts financed by the European Commission and which involve industrial and academic partners all over Europe.
