  • Description : This is the coil design of the 3 pole superconducting wiggler of the ESRF. This wiggler can produce a peak field of 5.2 T field using a set of racetrak coils and without any iron frame. The different colors correspond to a different current density in the coil. This is the Exampe # 2 of the Radia Distribution.
